On the night of 12th October 2007, the public, for the fourth consecutive time is once again invited to the much awaited Birgu By Candlelight activity where all Vittoriosa will be lit by candlelight. An event which promises to be an extensive night of arts, exhibitions, performances, re-enactments and tours. This years theme will be Birgu in World War II.
This was announced by the Minister for Tourism and Culture Dr. Francis Zammit Dimech, during a press conference held on September 18th at Couvre Porte, Vittoriosa in he presence of the Mayor Mr. John Boxall, Councillor Ms. Judith Saliba and Events Co-Ordinator Ms. MaryAnne Cauchi.
