As part of the Birgu Day activities, on Thursday 4th September, 2008, the Birgu Local Council presented 3 computers to the locality's youth centre. The presentation was done by the Mayor Mr. John Boxall, in the presence of the Vice Mayor Mr. Christopher Cassar and the Councillor Ms. Judith Saliba, to the director of the youth centre Fr. Lawrence Bonnici in the presence of some members.
