Three cities and whole Malta really worth visiting - missing it right now -but for sure I will be back. Greetings from Poland.

I was drawn to this site in an effort to learn more about Birgu and its history. Those familiar will see I share the name of the English knight, Sir Nicholas Upton, former governor, who died after a battle in 1551 and is buried in St. Lawrence church. I hope to visit one day. My family were privileged to attend your festa last Sunday. Unfortunately we were taken away before your amazing light show, but the pictures look great. Huge congratulations for this fantastic achievement - Had a great time visiting War At Malta with tour leader Joshua on June 24. Now back in Belgium and will tell everybody ! This was just a unique experience, combining this visit with the Saluting Battery and the Fort Rinella.

Fra' Andrew Bertie, who was the Grandmaster of the Order for nearly 20 years , passed away on February 7, 2008. Fra' Matthew Festing was elected as his successor. Well done to the authors of this informative website.

As a Vittoriosan I'm very proud to be! Presently I'm not residing at Vittoriosa but my heart is still attached to it. There is still a lot of work to be done, as Vittoriosa underwent heavy bombardment during last World War. But lot of work had been done as well, exposing some beautiful features which held the visitors speechless.
